Made in the USA by Framon Manufacturing in Alpena, Michigan. The Sidewinder SD1 is a compact, manual side-milling machine built to duplicate automotive high-security (laser-cut) keys. It handles keys for Mercedes, BMW, Mazda, Lexus, Infiniti, Volvo, Saab, VW/Audi, Honda, Toyota, GM, Ford, Chrysler/Fiat and Subaru.
Reversible vises and built-in tip stops let you duplicate a key in about a minute, with no rods or special clamps to set up. It also has an adjustable cutting-depth dial, a clear chip shield and a storage drawer for cutters and tools. Ball-bearing aluminum and steel construction. The SD1 can also be upgraded to Framon’s Sidewinder 2 code-cutting configuration.
